How do I remove the rear factory sights from a Ruger 10/22? - instruction on how to remove handlebars on harley davidson
I understand that you can press with a stamp and a brass hammer. I was able to remove the spotlight, but the rear does not seem to move. Is there a special way to do this? I bought the fiber optic sights on my 10/22, but had no instructions and I do not want to damage my gun or take to a dealer.

As I recall, the tapered dovetail easily from side to side. You go from left to right. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.
